A little video about us and how we raise our pigs for you!

After many years in our current location we have decided to relocate in order to better align with our agricultural practices. We've only moved about 20 miles west of our Greenville location to Farmdale, OH, and will continue to provide delicious protein, specifically pork and locally sourced beef, to our awesome customers! For the time being we will not have any set store hours but will work with customers who call to deliver orders or set up pick up appointments. What's a share you say? A share is a portion of the whole animal, such as a half a hog or half a beef that we process just for you! We explain all the cut options and then process it in that manner, so you have a say in how your meat is cut. Better value. Full freezer. What's not to love?

Maple Leaf Farm was founded by B.J.'s parents, Laszlo and Lana Mozes, and became a well known operation in the dairy world. Long hours and hard work growing up in this life taught us to appreciate what we have and respect the land and the animals that make this lifestyle possible. B.J.'s father passed away in 2005 and it has been B.J. and Kristy's goal to continue to operate this farm in the way that would respect the commitment and hard work that was put in to create it. We have been given a gift by a higher power and we embrace that responsibility. We now raise our 3 children in this lifestyle, and hope to impart this drive and respect in them as well.

While managing the crop operation, we started raising a few pigs for family over the years and have come to love these animals. Our principles are simple, allow them space on pasture to forage on their own, provide some supplemental feeds as needed, and give them attention each day and they will thrive. We are trying to get back to what farming is all about, being part of the system that has been perfectly designed for us. We don’t use any hormones or preventative antibiotics. While this method takes more time, the finished product is more than worth it.

We would welcome anyone to come out and visit us at the farm and see how their food is being raised. We are proud of what we do and love to share our experience when we can. Please call with any questions regarding our practices or ordering pork. We are eager to bring our product into your home.

We are a full service supplier of half and whole pork sales, as well as by the piece retail sales. Whether you only want one pork chop, or a half or whole pig, we will raise, organize processing, and if needed, deliver our pork to your door.


We accept payment through Paypal, as well as cash or check. We also are more than happy to take payments throughout the season, which a lot of people tell us is nice so that they can spread out the cost. Paypal address- bmozes89@gmail.com.
Pricing is $2.75/lb for a whole pig and $3.00/lb for a half pig hanging weight. This is the weight before the meat is actually cut. Our pigs usually hang at around 200 lbs for the whole pig.
Processing is in addition to the per/lb cost. Depending on processing and final weight the preceding prices give an approximate idea of total cost:


We ask that you make a $100 deposit when reserving a half or whole pig. This allows us to ensure that we get the correct number of animals and don’t have any left over at the end of the growing period. There is a timing component to getting the best quality meat and the right amount.
