Maple Leaf Farm was founded by B.J.’s parents, Laszlo and Lana Mozes, and became a well known operation in the dairy world, as well as having a very popular fruit and vegetable market. Long hours and hard work taught us to appreciate what we have and respect the land and the animals that make this lifestyle possible. We have been given a gift by a higher power and we embrace that responsibility. We now raise our 3 young children in this lifestyle, and hope to impart this drive and respect in them as well.
While managing the crop operation, we started raising a few pigs for family over the years and have come to love these animals. Our principles are simple, allow them space on pasture to forage on their own, provide some supplemental feeds as needed, and give them attention each day and they will thrive. We are trying to get back to what farming is all about, being part of the system that has been perfectly designed for us. We don’t use any hormones or preventative antibiotics. While this method takes more time, the finished product is more than worth it.

We are a full service supplier of half and whole pork sales, as well as by the piece retail sales. Whether you only want one pork chop, or a half or whole pig, we will raise, organize processing, and if needed, deliver our pork to your door.
We accept payment through Paypal, as well as cash or check. We also are more than happy to take payments throughout the season, which a lot of people tell us is nice so that they can spread out the cost. Paypal address- email@example.com.
Pricing is $2.50/lb hanging weight. This is the weight before the meat is actually cut. Our pigs usually hang at around 200 lbs for the whole pig.
We ask that you make a $100 deposit when reserving a half or whole pig. This allows us to ensure that we get the correct number of animals and don’t have any left over at the end of the growing period. There is a timing component to getting the best quality meat and the right amount.
